Hi I am new to the site and bought a 2006 Aurion the other month, I left the beeper at home and locked the door with the key - came out after work and could not open it??  Luckily my brother-in-law brought beeper to me, which I will never take off my keys again.  Has anyone else had this happen to them, as I would hate to be out late at night and the beeper goes flat and I cannot get into my car!  I called Toyota and they said that the key should open the door??

Has the driver's door lock been changed? Does the key turn at all? Can you unlock the passenger door with the key?

Thank-you for your help, when I got home I had a look at spare key and it is fairly brand new and actually opened the car door (thankgoodness), the key I had was extremely worn and obviously not working properly, which I find really odd as keys should not wear like this one has?
