My 1994 Supra turns off when not revving and suddenly cuts out

I have recently purchased a 1994 N/A manual supra about 6 weeks ago. 3 weeks later the car has been randomly turning off and it has gotten to the point where the car won't idle and will just turn off. Whilst driving the revs will drop straight down to 0 then back up. The car has just had new spark plugs and a battery put in it and has been taken to a mechanic and an auto electrician and nothing has come up in the codes . Has anyone else experienced this type of problem ?
