Throwing a P0047 OBD Code
I'll keep a record here at least, maybe it can help someone by the time I'm done. Tonight, I measured the 2-wire voltage with the engine running, 0.4v on the Green wire, 0.54v on the White wire, not much, bearing in mind the vehicle is running in limp mode so this may only be the default stepper drive voltage from the ECU in limp, unsure, but thinking it having voltage at minimum is a good thing as it proves connectivity at the least... and hopefully that the drivers in the Boost ECU are OK. So really, it's just seeing if the variable nozzle is mechanically free and easy to prove the stepper is at fault now. I think? I'm assuming when the stepper motor or mechanical side at least gets tuff to move and causes burn outs on the drivers in the Boost ECU working too hard (some have reported), I can only imagine it drives the stepper with 12v and not a 5v signal over the 2-wire like most motors of this type in a vehicle, and that polarity is switched for direction in the Boost ECU over these too (total assumptions at this point but have no other bearing so far). I may have a spare stepper coming my way to plug the existing wiring into to see if the P0047 disappears so that should be a good test to prove it if I can get my hands on one, I think that would make sense, but that's not to say at that point it could still be mechanically ceased and will have to check this too. Any input from anyone would be appreciated, bit out on my own here which is why I joined the forum - So if you know anything, please feel free to chime in. -

Anyone have this issue?
Hi Everyone Has anyone else had this issue? I purchased a 2024 Rav4 XSE and have an issue where the Nav system does not recognize and alert the location of red-light cameras consistently i.e. alerts on only one approach to the intersection with radio silence on the other three approaches. The activity is the same on Google Maps, Waze and Toyota native navigation. Is there any fix. Thanks in advance. Rick -

Anyone had this Issue
took it for a spin this evening, A couple of times it gave a jolt and when it does the engine check light comes on and the high temp light come on and then both go out after a second or two and the car runs normal again, Tried running it with the temp sensor disconnected, still does it, My cheap rubbish ozito scanner from bunnings will not talk to the ECU (Not the only car, Only talks to my Holden), Yeah got me stumped, A bit apprehensive to drive it too far. -

New to Toyota - 2005 Corolla Sportivo!
Ahh from back in the day when Honda made awesome cars, that Prelude is one of them, nice. The Integra TypeR was another & had the LSD in it from memory which made it an awesome FWD car. It was the Celica ZZT's only omission but it was also available from TRD so one could always swap it. Lovely cars Honda. -

New to Toyota - 2005 Corolla Sportivo!
Was a 98 Prelude VTi-R. Was a great first car, had a lot more room compared to say a DC2 or an EK/EM model Civic and I didn't have to worry about swapping motors around seeing as the H22 was quite torquey motor and K series swaps were quite rare back then. I only had it for not even 2 years but I still have such a soft spot for them when I see them here and there which is becoming a lot less frequent these days. I did have the chance to buy a then higher km DC2R in phoenix yellow with the yellow recaros and interior trim but I couldn't wait for the person to "return from overseas" and the car had a lot of interest and then been an inpatient 18 year old, I didn't want the same car as my mate which is something I mostly don't regret. In saying that, after driving my mates DC2R it's arguably one of the best FWD cars I've ever driven. It's sharp, raw and everything is in the right place for the best driving experience.- 1

Camry high rise spoiler
it seems like every few years someone tries to find one of these, but has anyone owned or even seen the high spoiler for the 02-06 camry? I'd love to try and hunt one down, but at this point its looking like an empty trail. -

24 inch Toyota light bar
I was talking to our local Toyota spare parts manager about a Toyota light bar wanting to know some of the specifications. He said they didn’t have any available - these are available for a number of Toyotas But they have never managed to be able to identify any details on the light bar and have nerves been able to get any further information from head office. He said mine wasn’t the first enquiry but they have never had any complaints about them. You would think that this would come with the bar but apparently not so. Has anyone had one fitted and what was their thoughts. -
