Yaris rain water leak

Is anyone aware of any possible reason that the repair work on a airbag recall could possibly cause a rain water leak into the cabin under the passenger side dash? Or could there be no sensible relationship, in which case I will have to look for other causes.

Thanks for that, but could the removal process itself create a leak ?

No.

Your best bet is to grab a torch, some paper towel, a garden hose and an assistant. Then start drenching all of the seals whilst the other person checks for leaks.
