Engine swap

Hey guys new to this but thought I'd give it a go!

i have a 2008 Toyota dual cab work mate and I was thinking about do something different with it and maybe making it a bit faster and different to the others, does anyone know what engine I could use to make it a bit quicker with out much cost?

I usually take a different approach of upgrading brakes and suspension. Also do lots of preventative maintenance to have the enine as efficient as possible. Clean air filters and sensors for fuel efficiency.
