Hi All,

My Corolla (2011) had low engine compression problems 16 months ago. When my local Toyota Service Centre  looked in to the problem that said the engine piston rings had clogged up due to using E10 fuel. They used a chemical to flush the engine but they said it would not get rid of all the residue.   The workshop said that they are starting to see this issue a lot in corolla and yaris models, even tho Toyota say it's ok to use E10 in the owners manual. In our case we only used E10 fuel on probably a dozen or so occasions.

Now my corolla is back in again for low compression issues. We haven't put E10 fuel in the car since we became aware of this issue.

Was wondering if anyone else has had E10 issues with Corolla and Yaris, or has heard of this problem.
