Hi I am new to this and a new Kluger owner so not sure how it all works.

Can anyone please tell me which Klugers did not have door sills. Most Klugers I have seen have a bottom door sill, I have now seen three KXS 2009 and 2010 that do not have a door sill rather the door goes all the way to the bottom where the others the door closes into the body. The ones where the door sill is part of the door make it a lot easier to get in and out of because you are closer to the seal and don't need to step over the sill. I can not find any information on this on the internet. Hopefully someone will know.

Looking at the difference between the vehicles with door steps and the ones without, the doors are different and the ones without the steps would have needed this done ex factory. I have now seen three KXS 2009 and 2010 without the step and many more with the step. The ones without the step are so much better to get in and out of. It would be good to know how this came about. Was it as you say ordered specially, is it a model variation or even a rebadged Highlander??

Thanks for your thoughts
