Hi

I have a 2007 aurion zr6 and am looking to get new rear brake pads.

Bendix says the db1475 ultimate is a good option if I have PBR calipers but I cant tell what mine are!

any info would be great!

Just walk into Repco, SCA and/or Autobarn on the weekend, give them the model & year and see what they suggest. That's what I did when I had to replace my front pads, Bendix gives 2 codes for the front - 1474 and 2243 - and Repco guy suggested 2243, which is what I then bought and turned out to be the right ones. It pays to ask in store, they're usually pretty good with giving you the right part code.

Didnt think PBA mattered as much.., but since i didnt know myself what it actually stands for, so this is what i found:

PBR stands for the manufacturer of the caliper, it is an outfit out of Australia that has been supplying there really nice calipers to domestic mfgr's for several years (Vette's, Cobra's, Z-28's, etc). As such, there is a big time supply of them on the market, parts are readily available. In summary, they are a floating type, twin piston caliper, cast aluminum body, and they are pretty darned nice for all but full boogie road race setups. Huge variety of great pads too! I have them on my 69.
