Dash cam placement

Question . for those of you who have a Dash Cam. Where have people placed their Dash Cams on their rav4

I don't own a Rav4 but in my Rukus i have placed my Dash Cam on the right side, just tucked in behind the mirror, as long as it is not obstructing your view.

I place my dash came behind the rear view mirror.  From the driver's side, at a glance, the dash cam is not easily spotted.

No not a Rav4,  but in both my Camry's, the cameras  are mounted passenger side of the rear view mirror. They are not visible from the drivers position, the wiring is tucked in along roof lining then into the rubber on the  A pillar, across under the glove box into the usb pods i have installed. I am using Viofo A119S cameras,very compact units.

Just below the rearview mirror on the windscreen .

Nope, mine are mounted just to the left of the rear view mirror, high up. The driver cannot see the camera from the drivers seat so no  vision is obscured by the device.
