Wiring Issues (Ignition Relay )

Borriss

Recommended Posts

Gday All

I have a issue with Borriss he going flat over night, It seems the Ignition soleniod might be turning on by itself..  let me explain.

Basically I turn the Key Off but everything stays on but not always.

It sounds like the GlowPlugs relay is going in and out

The Interior fan goes on off on off

You can push the Sub Tank button and it still works.  Things like this

This mainly happens after rain..

So i am thinking there is a main Ignition relay that is getting damp and playing up.

Any info would be great ,   I have been told there is a relay in the dash that requires the dash to be pulled out.

I am planning on getting the rust around the windscreen fixed after i get this sorted out as i know its not good for water to get in with the elctrics.

I have video if that helps

Cheers
