Hi everyone. I'm attempting to have a new Kenwood unit installed into my 2009 Rav4 V6. It does everything, it's a present. Model DDX9019DABS.

The unit will not work via bluetooth with my phone, and the message is that the speed sensor needs to be connected. The authorised installer (JB HiFi's installers) has tried twice, but can't get it happening. He is having trouble locating the speed sensor. He said because I have a bigger block than other Rav4's he's worked on, the wiring is different.

He said he has spoken to Toyota, but hasn't got help, and is waiting to speak to Kenwood GM on Mon. In the meantime, my dash etc is being pulled apart, put back together.........

Also, the sat nav is saying 'no signal'. Apple Car Play is only working when I connect via USB.

Can anyone offer any advice? I've tried to research this myself, and prior to ringing Toyota, I hoped I might get some guidance here.

Thank you all, much love.

Hi, thanks so much. I've sent him the link, hope he can figure it out now.
