My Toyota Camry hybrid gave me an error message last week - Check Hybrid battery. Long story short it's at a Toyota dealership awaiting a new battery. It's apparently 2,000 kms out of service and Toyota won't honour that. Has anyone fought for something like this to be covered under warranty, or at least go halves? Keen to push Toyota to try as have always been Toyota owners, and always had our vehicles serviced at Toyota. Otherwise it's $3,850! Surely someone could've told us that it was approaching the end of its warranty at a service? Just wondering how loud I should get about this. Thank you.
