Your question is too open ended and needs to be rephrased with more information so that you can get some meaningful replies.

We buy vehicles to meet specific needs or perceived needs. The girlfriend has a 2007 Yaris 3 door Hatchback which has the 1.5 litre engine and an automatic transmission. It is a great urban vehicle. If we had to replace it, then we would look at either a Yaris 4 door hatchback or a RAV4.

I have the Aurion which has a V6 and a sportsmatic transmission. I think that it is a great highway cruiser for interstate trips. I already have a standby Aurion as a replacement. However, if I wanted a 4 cylinder vehicle, I would most likely select a Camry with the 2.5 litre engine and an automatic transmission; not the CVT transmission.
