Page 105 of the 2021 Kluger Hybrid Owner's Manual says there is an option to open or close all windows and the moonroof from the wireless remote. However it says this option must be customised by your Toyota dealer. 

I took my car to Castle Hill Toyota and asked them to set the option. Unfortunately they said it was not available.

Has anyone else had success getting this option configured?

Did they elaborate or just point blank said it's not possible ? I cannot fathom how a "Grande" being top of the range cannot have such a simple function within a very electronically complex vehicle. I will have to call B.S. on this one until it is clearly explained. 

If I were you, I'd canvass another Toyota dealer and see what the general consensus is. 

If the owners manual, which was written for your specific vehicle, clearly states that this is an option, then it should be possible to do.

It could be possible to do via an OBDII scanner with the correct software, not just a simple one that reads codes. You'd need a more high end vehicle scanner I would imagine. I think this is what the book refers to as "option must be customised".
I have also read that in some models it can be done through the head unit. Don't quote me on this though, but it's worthwhile going through the menu and seeing if there is such an option there first.

I forgot to add an update. I took my Kluger back to the same dealer and the result was better but not perfect.

It was very quiet there due to the lockdown and I was able to talk to one of the senior mechanics. He took the car for about 30 minutes and when finished he told me that the option was now on for the windows, but it was not possible to do for the moonroof.

So, four out of five? I'll live with that.

I suspect you got a Lackey on the first try. Bit disappointing because they are suppose to try and help customers with any or all their concerns, how small or trivial it may be to them. The quality of service is slowly eroding unfortunately. I have a few stories of my own having dealt with service centres in recent times for our company vehicles. Disgraceful stuff.
