Alternator upgrade for AE112R

Recommended Posts

I'm  looking for someone with knowledge about an alternator upgrade for high out for a sound system or best compatibility etc. I've owned an AE112R coming up two years now. Nearing 300k. Manual. I want to eventually put in a big sound system. I will be getting one or two big batteries. One in the front and one in the boot. I've  already done the Big 3, plus extra grounds. Any help or direction towards an alternator upgrade is appreciated.. I have obviously gotten a quote from someone in the USA for a custom one.... 400amps, but would cost me about $500-$600 after shipping....That's just not feasibly for me. Cheaper the better. Stock alt is 70 amp.. I'm hoping for 150-200 or more is better. Cheers.
