Oil type

Hi Ben, I believe the best practise is to follow the approved viscosity for the engine it will say what type to use in your owners manual and I think from memory on a label in the engine bay, usually it is a 5W-30W oil or 10W-30W used. I only use fully synthetic at 5W-30W in my Aurion. I think there are a few sales on right now with good discounts for good quality oil in places like Repco Auto-barn Supercheap and I am sure there is a post in here in General Discussions section with links to the sales

Hope that helps mate.

@Bens1xx you posted a thread barely a week ago asking if another 15W40 was suitable for your engine, and were told there that the correct oil was 5W30 or 10W30.

Also, don't shop for car parts at Coles or Woolies.  You wouldn't buy potatoes or nappies from Supercheap Auto, would you?
