In the 1.4-1.8 category, our little 2ZZ-GE came 3rd! nice to see it beat the ford, mazda 3, and 206

5. Peugeot-Citroën/Ford Diesel 1.6-litre (Ford C-Max, Mazda 3, Peugeot 206, 307) 76

6. Volkswagen 1.8-litre turbo (180bhp) (Audi A4, Seat Ibiza, Skoda Octavia, VW Beetle, Golf, Passat, Sharan)

*edit* if u check out the past winners, the 2ZZ came 1st in 2002 in its category

Interesting to see the Hybrid Prius Engine coming first overall, not just in the 1.4-1.8 category.

On top of that it recently won (Toyota Prius II) car of the year in the States (forget which publication, the equivalent of Wheels here)...hybrid technology is on the rise!
