200 series 2019, high rev on start up only 3 days

Hi, can someone tell me why my 2019 200 series revs up immediately on cold start up after sitting for three or more days?

it has dpf delete, Richards auto transmission lock up kit installed

4” manta exhaust turbos back

really annoying and no doubt damaging to engine - revs to about 1800rpm then settles down after about 5secs.

hope someone can help, cheers

Hi Matt. I think all updated 200's  do this. My 2016 GXL certainly does. Why? Not sure. Some say it's to quickly get fluid circulating in the trans. I don't like it either. Mine doesn't even have a pattern when it does it. Sometimes just overnight sometimes a couple of days. Might have something related to temp amongst other criteria. I've just grown to accept it and I overcome it by moving gear selector from P to N as soon as I start it. This keeps revs at startup to normal. I then move it back to P and let it idle for a few minutes. I only do it on first start up of the day. After that just start normally. I don't know if I do damage to the trans by doing this so it's your choice but it now has 112000 kays on it and I've done this almost from new. I tow a 3 ton van, not full time, and have done one trans flush at 66000 kays. Due another at 120000 kays

My 2020 VX does rev to 1500 for 3-5 Seconds if left to cool right down .told by Toyota it’s a normal warm up procedure but it does it even though ambient temp is 36deg C  spoke to Toyota tune up expert who told me it is random in 200 series not all of them do it and he believes it to be a cpu fault and Toyota not admitting there is a problem. Not good for turbos etc . Don’t know what to do any advise is appreciated.
