The battery in my rolla lasted over three years (we would never how much longer it will last since the car is gone now) and i was running 2 amps (powering 2 splits and 2 coaxial and a sub) and i had no problems with the bettery.

However a few years ago my friend brina's batter exploded as she tried to start up the car. The explosion damaged her radiator, which she found out after she got a new battery in and on her way home the car over heated.

so i guess, the moral of the story is to check your batteries regularly...

checked MAP81's owners manual, and there is actually a battery maintenance page :P
