Peeps.

Hi Hobes is the name,

ol skool biker, ol skool mechanic, ol skool eveything.

Im here cos, i was just given on my 60th birthday an old 64ish shovel RT40. been sitten under some trees for ,i dont know how long. BUT, its now mine.

so, im here to ask help, im here to seek advice and tips.

 

but first.

i have an rt40, with bucket seats... i cant find any info on when this came out, ive seen bench jobs, but not buckets.

do i have a good one, is this a rarer model than bench seats?

help....

anyways, this is gonna be my rebuild, a cool rebuild, thinking....bagged, engine trans swap, discs fnt n rr, maybe a sleeper look....

Hi Hobes and welcome to the forum, from my fading memory the RT40 Corona did come in a deluxe version which featured reclining Bucket seats. From the pictures you do have a job ahead of you but what a fun project it may prove to be. Let us know how the project goes mate
