G'day Having trouble with the fuel gauge/sender. The dash indicator won't return to empty and there is only 5 volts at the sender unit, 12 volts on back of dash indicator. Has anyone come across this before.

Fuel gauge will always show the level when ignition was last turned off, they don't automatically drop to empty
