So, i recently bought an early 06 N70 1KD with 240k on it, it's started to blow a little bit of white smoke on startup and when I gave it its first oil change I noticed the oil pickup was pretty mucky. I gave the oil pickup a clean, but don't have the spare coin to do a full set of injectors at the moment. Is there any reason I can't just get the seals changed and keep using the injectors to keep it on the road? Is there a better way to clean that damn oil pickup than shoving little brushes up the sump plug? Someone on facebook said you can spray brake cleaner up there and then tip a couple of liters of oil back down the hatch to flush it out after, but not sure if that was legit?

Get a scantool or techstream that can read the values of the injectors they dont want to over 3  they have a scale of 0 to 5 - 5 is cactus ,change your oil regulary and keep an eye on the oil pickup

Theres vids on injector replacement on youtube
