Suspension
looks like no replies for last couple of years.. I am thinking the same thing for my Estima 2008 (same model), which i have replaced all the suspension (adjustable coilover) myself, when I bought the car to lift the height to max, as it was too low. But the suspension that I purchased was from Japan and the max was still lowerer than the standard suspension. There are various coilovers in the market but hard to find the standard suspension with standard springs. I believe it is doable.. I will update when i find the right parts. -

What tyres will fit
Have a look at this URL https://tiresize.com/comparison/ https://www.redbook.com.au/cars/details/2015-toyota-hilux-sr-hi-rider-auto-4x2-double-cab/SPOT-ITM-425943?Cr=8 Tyre specification is shown as 265/65/R17. There should be sticker/plackard showing vehicle specifications and usually placed within the door opening near the lock. -

Diff and transfer case ratios
Hey all would love a hand with this I’m needing the ratios of the rear diff and transfer case for a 1999 105 series, the gearbox is a a442. My cruiser is fitted with a transmission controller an I’ve had some dramas with it lately I’m going thru a double checking all the ratios and details that have been put into it to confirm there right. -

Replace Rear Door Check
Anyone know how to replace the rear door check as below? Are special tools required? Should I also buy replacement brackets? I am looking at part # 69411 from https://www.megazip.net/zapchasti-dlya-avtomobilej/toyota/land-cruiser-prado-38287/grj150-54905/grj150l-gkaek-937138/back-door-lock-hinge-18032823?vin=1440394526 Not sure if I also need the brackets -

Head unit sd card issue
gonna revive a old post but still worked great for the touch screen i upgraded in my 2013 corolla. didnt work the first time around but i think what i did wrong was a) didn't use a small SD i found 8GB one worked well but my 128gb one couldn't read b) make sure you let the head unit intially start up to get the program loading error screen THEN plug in the sd card stoked that this worked. will be keeping a copy if this goes down and anyone needs it -

What tyres will fit
I have a 2015 sr I’ve just brought it and it has 285/70/R17 tyres on 17/8 rims and it scrubs way to much as I don’t have any lift so I want to get rid of the tyres but keep the rims anyone know how big I can go without the scrubbing been thinking 255/70/R17 but can’t find much info on it and just want to be sure before I buy them cheers -

1kd issues code po108
Hi, I have a 1kd d4d 3.0 That's playing up. Turbo was changed 6 months ago, all seemed ok. Few weeks ago it started lagging and pulsing at low revs before the turbo kicked in but seemed ok on boost Next day was worse so put it on a computer and threw a code for air flow sensor so I changed that and that code went away Worked better but still not right. On idle it's ok but when you put into drive and foot on break the actuator pulses and when you take off its really pulsy not smooth until turbo hits It's different at different Temps, not as bad on a cold start, if I start it warm it's worse. Once I pump the gas and finally get it to boost it comes better. Put on another computer today and po108 came up. The mechanic said hard to tell if it's the map sensor or the turbo boost control module. Now he said when they replace bad turbos they normally replace the control module as sometimes the bad turbo can cause a fault in the module. He also said when it's original turbo and all seems good he normally leans towards the map sensor. I live on a small island I'm south pacific and limited parts available so trying to get to the bottom of this. Any advice or ways to test and see if it's the map sensor or the control module? Thanks all 🤙 🏝 -

250 series Kakadu flat tail gate model
I have ordered a 250 Kakadu back on the 31/5/2023 and the dealer has informed me that it will not be available until July 2025 at the earliest or December 2025 at the latest. Has anyone else experienced this huge delay? I was originally told it would be available in September 2024. I have a stock number for the build and wondering if someone can help me to use this number to find out when the order was placed and the ETA direct from Toyota. Thank you.
