What is the go with LPG? I know taxis etc use it but is it something that is worth looking at for a 4cyl ('03) Camry? Is it a wasted effort on a 4cyl motor? is there a change in power etc?

well.....LPG can be abit dangerous when you think about it.

my recommendation would be, wait for awhile cause the 07 Toyota Camry Hybrid will be out in couple of months. it produces 140kw in total (Electric n Power Engine). It will costs roughly the same as Prius, but with more power :)

Bad points for LPG

15Ltrs /100km

Lose the boot space

Add more weight to your car.

An ugly plug exposed on the quarter panel. (choice of yellow or black cap)

Not a lubricated fuel....roots the motor if not continuously switching fuel types at specific increments.

Another service to add to your list.

A little red sticker on your personalised No. plates

Risk....(unknown saftey if leak or within an accident)

I believe there is a drop in power.....dont quote me tho (definately no increase)

Seems to be some reason why car maufacturers stay clear of it.

Good Point/s

about a third of the price of Unleaded

My 2cents

Brad

Oh forgot another good point ...the 2K govt incentive
