No, these are not what we have been looking for.

Unfortunatley, there have been a few of us try various forms of LED's in the console/Dash but the problem with LED's is that they produce a light which is too pinpoint for the console template. That is when you look at the button, the words on the button are illuminated from the centre as a point, but faeds to the sides.

The reason for the is because behind the buttone where the clearer section for the light comes from, is a refractive peice of plastic. The LED just powers the light straight through it.

THe only way to overcome this if you wanted to use white LEDs would be the somehow remove this plastic. I aint trying the one unless I have a spare dash....

If you want to try it though, in all for a console light colour change (console only, not dash) then you will need 10 including the cigarette lighter and ashtray lights...

You can not change the colour of the dash as it is produced red by the plastics in the dash, not the lights that illuminate them, so the only option there is if you produce a new dash template.

brush a little bit of liquid paper on the tip of the led to make the light no so concentrated and it should be ok...

i want to install white led in consol... instrument cluster... still looking for bulbs...
