PS2 will draw 47.6W alone Thas for the slimline ones, i dont have one of the original PS2's to have a look and work it out, and im just using the cig lighter, i have split mine behind the dash tho so there is no exposed wires

how?

He said it's hard wired to the cigarette lighter leads behind the dash, not plugged into the cigarette lighter itself.

This the the simplest and cleanest way to do it and it is protected from overload by the cigarette lighter fuse.

i unpluged the leads that run into the cig lighter and made a splitter and on the other end put another cig lighter socket, so i have one cig lighter socket behind the dash and the other one in the center console still works, i dont smoke but its handy for phone chargers etc.
