Exhaust Mod For Rear Skirt

Hi guys,

Recently got the Rear Skirt for my Sportivo given to me from my family as a Birthday present. I haven't had it put on my car yet but know all about the exhaust mod that has to take place from reading previous posts on here. However i haven't seen any pictures of the mod. Was wondering what most of you guys do? Do you just get a bend in the tip so that its still visible underneath the skirt or do you mod it in some other way so as to make the exhaust not visible at all from the rear? and roughly how much is the mod?

as far as i know, you can either have a hole cut in the rear skirt or bend the tip of the exhaust

The muffler place i went to cut the OE tip off and put in a 2 inch stainless pipe so that the OE tip can be welded over it and be bent down slightly to miss the skirt. You just need to bend the tip down slightly to avoid pumping hot gasses into the skirt. It costs $20 i think but my dealer paid for it because they didn't warn me before fitting the skirt on :( Alternatively get a dump pipe.
