Hi,

I have just recently got a set of dba slotted rotors aswell as green stuff pads, and they are squeeling on slight touch of the brake pad.

One thing though, the place where i got these installed did not use the brake shims, will inserting these fix the noise? The place reckon they never use them but only use the special anti squeel compound???

Any help would be appreciated,

TIA

I was told the squealing on the green stuff was normal by the guy who works in distro office for EBC in bankstown....

Yo, the squeling should only happen for the first 100-150 k's for the brake pads to bed in . :D then it's good times!
