Hey my mate has brought a water temp gauge and i told him i would help him install it. I assume you have to replace your exsisting rod with the one supplied with the tacho. Also it has a red and a black wire on the back of it, is this power supply for the light? Also he was hoping not to loose his reading on his exsisting tacho interface but with what i have read you can't have both. I have a look through google but i need help locating the actually place to install the rod too in a corolla 2nd gen. Anything will he useful, this is starting to **** me.

Cheers

buy a sender adapter that goes in the top radiator hose.

autobarn sell them, I guess repco should too. Have a look in MAP81's garage pics, you can see a pic of the sender adapter there. I think there should be a pic of mine in my garage too in the engine bay pic.

you cut about 30-40mm out of the radiator hose, and clamp the adapter in where you cut the section of hose out. They're also sold on ebay.
