Selling 1986 ST162!

Hi all

I am a new member and am going to sell my St162

i have no photos as of yet but i will be putting them on sunday morning.

my mum brought it brand new for $33000 may 1986.

it has been a great bit of car but it has been handed down to me and i cant drive it because i have another car.

THE BAD

it has done 340000.

needs new shocks, getting done friday anyway.

isnt as zippy as she once was, so i have been told.

minor upolsety damage in the front seats (just a few loose threads)

Drivers side carpet is kinda worn.

surface rust on sunroof and on right rear quater panel.

the origional body kit is gone, along with the origional mud flaps behind the rear wheels.

dosnt have a spoiler anymore.

THE GOOD

its passed the test of time

paint work is in great condition cept for that small patch of rust.

boot is re carpeted and respayed.

good on fule

new distruibuter. sports exhaust ,new break disks and pads.(disks wernt worn just wanted cooler looking ones)

has the turbo wind up but no turbo. must be the intake whistleing.

Electronic fule injected

eletric sunroof that i fixed my self (works great)

All origional toyota tools

5 origional stock toyota wheels white. 2 new front tyers ( P205/65 R13) bridgstone sports

window seals remade properly so the front quater pannels dont rust from the inside out.

blackpunked speakers.

No oil leaks.

If it gets a new engin and some sitffer springs. it would be a mean little car. have driven it once. beat one of the new ford fiesta with the self proclaimed forumla ford motor in it, but it was a fords so what did i expect. (ford was a 1.6 liter)

Yeah it was along time ago, and i gave it to my mum. A few changes, there is somthing wrong with the gear box, it keeps loading up the engine so it always pings no matter how much you d tune it. Also since my mum has had it 11 months... she has not changed any fluid, oil... Etc. however before i got rid of it i put a new timing belt new water pump. So if you really want it ill give you her phone number and you can give her a call, however i wouldnt pay more than $500 for it and she wont sell it for that. if you need a cheap car i have an Alfa Romeo for sale. its in the process of being fixed up but not a whole lot has happened as of yet.

Its a 164 3.0 V6 auto
