radiator cap

Recommended Posts

remember to also

change the radiator cap when the car is cold, or you will get a nasty shock/ maybe even a few burns

Same when unhooking the Throttle Body hoses. Yeah, that was learned the hard way, and burned!

Yes, change the cap.

The cap might not be put on properly or another overheating problem from what I can see. How is the temperature and the overflow tank going?

the reserve tank is also overflown. the temperature is normal i guess, it's in the middle.

and i also have "Engine Check" light on. Sometimes it's OFF, but rarely off.

so i just go to the auto shop and ask for that cap first to see how things are goin?
