Hi, Does anyone have any wiring diagrams for the latest Hilux Diesel?

Is there a vehicle speed sensor and does it go to the ECU or speedo? I am really looking to tap into the vehicle speed.

A point in the right direction much appreciated.

can't help you with a wiring diagram, but at the dealership we fit the new model hilux SR5's with 17" rims and tyres, greatly increasing the rolling diameter. but the speedo automatically adjusts itself.

hope this helps

I'll bet it doesn't.

SR5s with the 15" standard wheels have speedos that overread by just on 8%. Putting a larger wheel/tyre on simply reduces this error. Using a 17" wheel, if you install 265/65*17s, then you'd take out about 70% of the error. If you use a 16" wheel, and install a 265/75 then the error is zero.
