Window Auto up/down after recall

Recommended Posts

I got my recall done the other day and have noticed that the auto up and down function for the driver side window does not work any more...does anyone else have the same problem after the recall?

I would've thought that this kind of low level functionality wouldn't be associated with the ECU  ...maybe i'm wrong

gonna get it checked out tomorrow <_<

cheers

Yekim..try this solution.

Hold the button down until the window goes all the way down. The pull it up until the window winds back up again. Don;t let go of the switch when you do it. That should fix it up.

This happened to me when I was getting my auto windup done.

Give that a try and let me know how it goes. :D

thanx for the tip :)

no luck though, i just tried it several times :o

Tried it with a combo of diff pressing methods: pressed normally and all the way so that auto windup/down is engaged

Yekim,

if u read ur users manual, you'll see that it tells you how to fix this up.

this is usually due to the battery being disconnected.

put ur window 1/2 way up/down. and then...raise it all the way up..holding it for 3 seconds..then releasing.

That should fix it.

Good to see that I wasn't the only one. I drove out of the service centre and tried my windows and thought that it was broken, so I turned around and drove back to see the technician. We played with the window for a while and it began to work again.
