I had one 3/4 tank E10 and economy is from 15-17L. Even with me driving it. Not to mention **** throttle response.

Anyone tried it? I;ve just got a FULL tank of it to check it out as our large shell station has removed all shell premium 95 with E10!

Will be interested to see how it goes. Hubby refuses to use it , his cars and dirt bikes hate the stuff!, run really rough though I have friends who swear by it and say they get even better economy than reg. unleaded. Noticed the changes at Shell.

Keep us updated.

Thats it, 17.5L current economy, normally 15L, therefore, no worth the couple of extra cents savings!

My last lot of fuel (reg unleaded) came from my normal servo which has just added E10. My usual economy is 13lt approx, cant get this run down below 15lt - 16lt . Was wondering if they sold me E10 instead of regular unleaded or If I am just having a bad run?. Will see how the next tank goes.

Thanks for the info, wont bother trying E10....... or maybe I already have ;)

mate, use premium 95 as the economy is a little better for me with this, i worked out for 6c a litre more, thats $3.60more on a 60l fill, if i improve my economy by just 1L/100k's, its work it, i get about 2L/100 better or more sometimes!

Proves my point, ran it to the empty line, fill today with 10L of 95 to clean up the rest. Back to 95, had to give it a go and see, i did see the economy drop to 15L by still higher than premium under same highway conditions. Thank goodness the fuel price has dropped!

i think the whole nation should protest against it and avoid petrol stations who only stock E10 fuel.

this will show them how much business they will lose in the long run.

i too had bad experiences wit E10 and avoid them at all costs.

i am personally happy with regular unleaded i don't know why they changing it when there is no fuel economy benefit.

I normally run premium unleaded in my Grande but I gave it a go recently.

Economy dropped (or is that increased?) by about 15%

Certainly not worth it IMHO.
