I bought headlight protectors and bonnet guard for my car about a year ago. Wasnt to keen on the look with the bonnet protector on so i took it off.If anyon wants to save a bit of money they can have it for $50 or else it will stay stored in the garage.

Azza the road isnt the smoothest but the pot holes have been filled by the rta the usual way they do it. As for gravel, no its tared . There is gravel there but thats only off the road even though that would be a good photo of all the Aurions lined up but like i said thats only the shoulder. Check it out on Google earth if you have it. that will give you a better idea Raimond

Azza The meeting at my place isnt that important i was just taking an oppurtunity for a great photo for myself ( being a bit selfish) so if others arent fussy about it we dont have to do it, dont want to put others out. The link in my prevoius thread has been fixed. hope the destination is acceptable. Ill PM you my mobile number just in case something happens Cheers ...Raimond

ok . going for a ride on the bike today ill check a few venues out. ;) checked out the venue. I think it will look great. Here is a map from Mt ousley rd to my place then to bass point. there is a detour at princess hwy and shellharbour rd due to roadworks , just follow shell cove sign at road works. We have the beach in the background which is on bass point tourist rd. we can purchase food from a few take away shops in the middle of shellharbour and eat it out on the tourist road for talks and photos.. Just an idea would love for all to meet at my joint for a group photos of aurions up the driveway. regarding venue any oother suggestions would be appreciated. Link should work now azza. will exchange mobile numbers with you when day gets closer Raimond

Thats an option you can change from the service department. They have a hand held computer that they can change it. you can have all doors unlock or drivers door only. if you bought tha car second hand maybe the previous owner had it changed, if your the first owner, cant explain it.

Aaron. it depends on how many cars there are involved. ill keep a count on that and think about the destination. Down at a place called shallows(shellharbour) where the backdrop would be the ocean ,again not alot of room there depending on the amount of cars plus its south of wollongong (about 15 min drive) near my joint. ill think of more spots while we get the count.

Ill be in that but ill have to meet you guys down here as i live down in Wollongong lol B)

NEED HELP ON LOWERING INFO ABOUT RUBBING
Sera30 replied to BONDIE's topic in Aurion / TRD Aurion Club
Seeing all these pictures of these lowered Aurions has got me thinking about lowering mine <_< . i have never had any intention on lowering it but...........Mmmmmm. My wife says no because i will get cranky when she scrapes it (i suppose I will). i want to lowering just enough so it looks even and lower just a touch, is there a minimun you can lower it by? I also dont want it too rigid after all im not a young bloke enjoying my car im actually an older bloke enjoying seeing my car along the road driven by my wife with the kids in it. Any help -
Thanks Paulmt, They look alright :D . Sent the guys an email regarding one for the truck at work (spend more time in that than the Aurion) I've been looking for one like these for awhile and so have the other drivers in the yard. Thanks for sharing Paul. ;)

I think the Auspacks unit gained a little more popularity here because once one person got it and was satisfied, the rest followed. On top of that, the Auspacks unit includes a reversing camera in the package and has a built-in TV tuner (good at the time, will be useless soon). I hadn't even heard of Ryda until you mentioned it. I quite enjoy the tv in my car at certain times so does my wife. I noticed on a thread here that someone was thinking about purchasing a unit that also had a digital set top box as an option that you could add to it. I hope there will be one for the Auspack unit. Mmmmmm i think i might email Rob from Auspack ;)

thanks DJ works great

I dont know if it would be better than ours but i do like the idea of the digital set top box which i think we are going to need pretty soon when they switch anologue off. I quite enjoy the tv in the car while i'm waiting around ffor someone. My wife tthinks its great too. I wonder if its suited for the Auspack unit???????????

For the camera, the point where I tapped into the reverse light power at the bulb end, the two wires were red (+) and white with black trace (-). The pink wire still needs to be connected to the reverse light (+12v) as the head unit uses this to activate the reverse camera mode. At the kick panel, I spliced into the wire itself and not directly at the connector. With that little little wiring harness supplied and shown in your attached photo, don't bother putting it in. It is just extra un-necessary wiring that you don't need. need a hand or are you almost finish
