Guys, after much searching and debating I have finally made up my mind on which wheels i am getting :) I found it very difficult to find a racing 5 spoke (forged or not) a got a few 6 spokes but......errr i wanted 5 spoke. Anyway now that I have finally selected my rolling stock I now am looking at the rubber....im thinking yokohama.... I'll post the finished product asap. Cheers :D Danthuyer

Zee - you E-gene and I have the latest sportivo's so we are in the same boat. I have been working the gearbox a fair bit trying to loosen it up and it is getting there slowly. I too have done around 1500K's and I can shift out of lift 1 -> 2 but you do have to give it a good pull to get it there. I have had the gear selector cable looked at because of the rattle and it was replaced with a different one and the shifting has been exactly the same. I think I posted earlier in this topic about how the gearbox is not to be pushed too hard in the first 100-1500....but once its loosened up its strong as an Ox. Stay in there, but if its not smoothing itself out soon....take it in for a look see :)

thx danz :) I think I have have gone off the gold/bronze phase of wheels now :) looking at some nice racing 5/6 spokes .....425$ each wheel (no rubber) or 700$ forged (no rubber)

took my car in for its 1000 on friday and to also get the grill and rear skirt finally fitted. Got the car home and realised that they hadn't cut out room for the exhaust or done the exhaust mod. The skirt had already bubbled and melted and they also used black rubber to fit it and not grey like the rest of the car. Rang them up first thing on saturday and took it into them and got them to fix it. they cut out room for the exhaust and refitted it. I told them it was not good enough and they had to get me another skirt. I must admit though they worked damn hard and fast to keep me happy on sat morning...in and out within the hour

Went out on Wednesday night to show a mate the new car. On the way home I went past some cops and they followed me and then pulled me over. I thought it was because i have no plates on the car........ Then they say that they had a phone call from a concerned citizen saying there was a white corolla with no plates doing 160+ on the highway... They just asked me to slow down and resist the temptation of the new car ;)
