  3. For Reggae info check this site out. http://forums.ozreggae.com/ Some people I know do the Fisherman style live thing in Perth, a good show if get a chance to see.
  4. http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/inde...?showtopic=9536 see for what I have on my car , really happy with the set up. King lows on it , would not go lower.
  5. Maybe look at a sportivo with a sunroof pack (also get side airbags with that one I think). Buy a new sat nav. I find the 4cyl fine - I do have a chip and CAI (cold air induction) though.
  6. I would rather handling over power. You get quicker lap time too. If you saw the two mustangs on Top Gear recently you will see the difference a well sorted car makes over one with just raw power. Linear power is another important factor than top Kw and Torque numbers. :P
  7. I do think that 90 kph law is silly. Better to have more driver training. Having people sitting on your butt in 110 kph zone must be frustrating as hell.
  8. I need a co-driver to write down all the plates I see on a trip to work in Perth :P
  9. Sorry would like to have gone just needed more warning to organise myself and give the car a clean. Another time would be good :)
  10. Errr Euro = trouble check out the survey below ;) http://www.topgear.com/content/carsurvey/2...tures/04/1.html
  11. Just replaced the other 2 tyres and its quiet and smooth, feels like a new car after the roaring Faulkins. Stay away from the Z308 (think thats them), they were bumping roaring and being general pigs on the road. So far so good with the Maxxis :)
  12. The Altise and 4cyl Sportivo do not have those features ;)
  13. I would prob not waste my money. It adds nothing on trade in. Better off to buy a bottle of protectant for the leather from an Auto dealer and polish the car every 8 months or so with high quality polish. Tint can be done elsewhere with darker tint for less money. Having said that the price is not too bad all up. VW wanted $3500 on a 26k car, bit much I thought.
  14. Was a wet weekend in Perth and gave the Maxxis a good flogging. They never broke traction so I was very impressed.
  15. I got a gearbox flush and service on my 1990 Camry at 170,000 kms it went a lot better after that. It was some high pressure thing they did at the Mobil service stations At 285,000 it was still changing like new. I was looking at buying a Xsara and the dealership sold Ferraris (toowong round about in Brisbane). For a trade in the guy took it for a test-drive and was amazed at the quality of the changes thought it was like new.

  17. JJJ hack and request fest is great. Also they have good new music. Often they have too much hip hop or a period of crap music but really throws you to the new movements of music without any commercial bounds or contracts. :) Sometimes RTR (Perth) like a bit of Reggae so seek that out and blues and roots kinda stuff. Dig Jazz and DIG on the set top box. Also some ABC classic if the drivers around me are being idiot s and I need to chill. Sometimes some Rock but I hate commercials so try to avoid commercial radio. B)
  18. I thought with Digital TV we would get the channels to show shows like the F1 on one of their Digital channels. Silly over regulated media. Loosen it up Canberra. Live sport is the way forward. :P Do they have it on pay tv?
  19. Well I am living in hope :P Team Toyota Drivers; R Schumacher J. Trulli Fastest Lap; R Schumacher Pole; R Schumacher
  20. If its like the Camry you can do the in-between services (7500kms) or to keep in warranty just do the 15,000km ones. Oil changes often are a good thing if you intend to keep the car for a long time. Also before you go on a long trip its good to have everything checked over.
  21. At least get CAI. Get some more sound and some performance increase.
  22. Cooling off period is your friend :) From 28 January 2003 a one day, waivable cooling off period was introduced for purchases of new and used cars where the purchase is financed by a linked credit arrangement. Linked credit is where finance for the purchase is provided by or facilitated by the motor dealer selling the vehicle. The cooling off period will be given effect by the commencement of Schedule 1 [39] of the Motor Trade Legislation Amendment Act 2001 and the Motor Dealers Amendment (Cooling Off Periods) Regulation 2002 (amending Motor Dealers Act 1974 - Sections 29CA-29CD; and Motor Dealers Regulation 1999 - Clause 41A). Copies of the legislation may be purchased from the Government Information Service or downloaded from www.legislation.nsw.gov.au.
  23. Does not makes sense to end it. I think its probably the most popular show around at the moment. Even Qantas airs it. Most popular entertainment show in the US as well. To get rid of it would be sheer madness and leave room for some nasty big brother show with Politicly Correct pap.
  24. Here I am. got the beer chilling and BBQ gased for the weekend of action :D Team Toyota Drivers; R Schumacher J. Trulli Fastest Lap; R Schumacher Pole; R Schumacher
