  1. maybe its a 'wheels' magazine thing :D ← maybe MAGS like mag wheels hahaah yer .. u see lot of older rollas in those mags i think people dont go as hard on rollas as they do a S15 - S15 lot of more hardcore modders do it.. and there are ALOT of aftermarket mods available for it that is easy to do to get gains. Same with civic - lots of stuff available... compared to the rolla .. of coz most people have lowered and put rims and exhaust .. but beyond there not too much to do unless ur willing to go and spend the dosh and hope for the best and that would get u into the mag;) but honestly ive seen some shocking cars in hot4s .. lol dont know how they get in ..
  2. id get headunit, frotn speakers, amp, sub/amp in that order i jsut got pioneer p1y and sounds awesome with stock speakers wbut when i turn it up its all muffled and distorted..
  3. i dont know how u can live with this problem for so long lol if was me id be getting new battery that day! or at least NRMA to inspect.. bloody filos lol my mates are all the same!

  5. whats the size of the corolla's stock throttle body?? how much would u bore it out by?
  6. because i said the toyota headunit slot is a unique size. its wider than standard double din size. ← LOL, Sorry dude, wasn't questioning you're knowledge. :) Was letting the OP know how to figure out if he needed the spacers or not. :P ← :P :D ← listened to them at a few places so far 2 diff JB hifi and motoquipe for the headunit - they only come in standard Dinn width .. the new toyotas use wider ones so u HAVE to get spacers for the sides .. what year is ur rolla? if u have the grey interior then i think you will be ok as this was before they introduced the wider stereo.
  7. I've tried that already. I've even reset the ECU. But still not working. I'm getting really concern with the CD player/lights. I can't figure out why it's doing that??? Also I've just checked my car again, and I've noticed that when I put the key in the ignition, I turn it once to have the power on (CD player on) then when I turn it again the CD/player goes off and even the mileage counter goes off too??? It's like an X-Files moment??? HELP PLEASE?!?!? ← Check all your fuses, maybe one of them not burned through properly and its shorting out the system. Remember that besides the one inside the engine bay, there is another fuse box behind the glove box. Just take it up and remove a black panel. U'll have to stick ur head in the foot well and look up to see it. Perhaps ur starter motor is shorting out? It sure sounds like a short to me. ← I've checked that too. Checked for any fuse blown...(in the engine bay and also inside the glove box compartment. Check each and one of them and they seem fine (not blown at all) As for the wirings, well I've checked throughly inside and out (but again I don't see any lose and live wiring touching the car). Though it seems like there's some kind of a short somewhere (hence the weird CD/player, ignition thing) But also I don't understand why it's not going through COMBUSTION! Once I turn on the ignition, I can just hear this rapid clicking noise...THAT'S IT! Not like the car will start then it will die straight away. ← sounds like battery issues the clicking noise .. ur car aint kicking over
  8. How low are the TRD springs from stock? that wil give an indication of rubbing .. also what width rims and offset are you going to use?? If u lowered you can always dial in some camber with some camber bolts as it will splay out ur tires a bit .. and apparantly ive heard having about neg 1 degree camber when uve lowered ur car actually helps with even wear on ur tires. With the CAI .. you could make you own design and cut a vent in ur bonnet and duct it to that. (just an idea) Also - did those rims come stock on ur Runx ?? they look like the steel wheels with plastic hubcaps u get on the base model ascents here ... hehee definitely get rims .. id be going 17s in lightweight but thats personal choice.

T junction left 1st set of robots right 3 circles on your right. its a g garage and they have a pretty new car wash. ← yer definitely less water using a hose than a bucket ... my tap is on constantly filling up buckets etc. WORD OF WARNING: DO NOT USE THE DRY WASH TECHNIQUE UNLESS UR CAR IS ALREADY SPOTLESS
