hmm that plug looks quite different to mine. that green wire is on the engine side? its probably to the parker light wire. is there a green wire "inside" the headlight housing? near the low beam reflector? green is engine side, headlight side is just yellow white black red as u can see from pic havnt pulled headlight apart, not going to !

its got a green wire on the plug from what i can see

depends if toyota has actually serviced the car... i know at my work, on our system we have the cars history, inc whats been done on the car like service items ie brake fluid flush etcetc... and warranty info... give em a call tomorrow andd ask???? only cost of a local call :)

any improvements with the catch can? whats the gain besides keeping your intake clean?

I got mine at 81 it had crunching issues, in lift, perfect when driving normally. I have since adjust my master cyl clutch push rod, and changed the oil to fully syn 75w85 nulon.. Perecto!!!!! Once or twice it's happened since, but maybe I was being lazy or something next on my Santa list is a exedy HD clutch..

ok GF is gone, and after a few weeks... i have found my new love again ( after reading this thread ) i want this CAR !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

get a 1 way valve put in just before the rear nozzle

radiator! get a new one u can see the water sitting on the bottom tank?? also when you get your new one, run a wire from the radiator core and strap it to your earth, this will get rid of any current going through your cooling system ( discoloured coolant ) rusts faster... here's a test for you bokes run your engine.. get a multi meter, and put it to DC volts i believe, red on the positive and 1 in your radiator coolant ( make sure it only dips into the water not the side of the radiator, and tell me if you read any voltage drop. THEN earth your radiator core to the chassis, and see the voltage drop to basicly nil... tech teacher showed me, told me prevents rust and discolouration of coolant

Like i said i used that before and had same results as you, easier gear changes but still crunching, but now went to 75w85 and its even smoother and no crunching no matter how crap i shift. since i fixed my cv's GB oil came out, so i thought may aswell do an oil change on that, went for the 75w85 Nulon, with the G70 addative, im so pleased with it ! i went to supercheap to get the oil, and they didnt sell it in 5L bottles, tho they loooked up the book and said it requires only 2.3L or something like that, so it only came in 1L bottles, at $30 each, ouch ! so pretty much a full bottle left, cause i bought 3, so when i do my HD clutch, i can top it up! woot once again very pleased with 75w85 yup mine was going sooooo perfect when did the GB oil, perfect change everytime, by myself or peeps in the car i think mine is on its way out aswell, exedy HD clutch supplied 400, and i can put it in, any1 can get it cheaper???

yeh its tricky but do-able, i removed the whole assembly, loosened the nut, put it all back, adjusted, then nipped up the nut i bought crows feet tools, didnt work, bought it for nothing, and ive never used it!

i have my foglights on during the day :) i think it adds class lmao... o and i got HID's ( only on at night, not one of those day people), sometimes peeps high beam me, i highbeam back, ive aimed them lower too and havnt got a flash since but i dont drive to give courtesy to others, they dont care about me, why should i care about them, sure i obey the rules and let people merge infront of me, they give a wave thanx, i feel better, i give a wave back when i get let in... i dont stay in the fast lane while going slow, i stick to the left or right at the speed limit, but i see it all the time, i fly past peeeps even tho im not in the fast lane, and doing the limit, and i see people right up their a*S and think they should get in the slow lane...
