ok, did a quote with aami, they have this thing called ' main driver ' so does that mean i can put my brother down as main driver even tho the car is under my name????? they quoted me over $2k for 1 licence suspension... come on im a good driver :P

i dont want 3rd party !! if i change insurance company it will be high cause i have to tell them how many licence suspensions... :( i can't win, i spose when insurance comes around ill be over 21, i may aswell change insurance to " over 21 only " to make it cheaper, my little bro drives my car now but he is only 11 minutes younger than me :P

i need advice aswell i payed 1550 full comp for my stivo, since i have lost my licence i know insurance will go up, who's the best and cheap insurance company that dont ask for licence suspensions??? when just car insurance send me my bill for nxt year in feb, will they automaticly know i have lost it??? ive done a quite, 1400 normal, 2200 with loss of licence :( btw im 20, will be 21 next insurance...

Would be good if you can close on demand. Useful when going thru a narrow alley. Looks like with this, you'll need to turn your car off so that the side mirror closes and then push the car thru the alley .... :lol: :lol: :lol: I would say that with a simple little modification to the wiring, you can make it close on demand. Would be p** easy to do as well. The module has a 3sec delay on folding/unfolding. if you put a switch probably a good idea to somehow remove that delay lol have it to ignition just put a switch in it, when u go through your 'alley' lol flick the switch which so mirror thinks car is turned off.. , if they work i might get a pair, would you be leaving the indicator in the mirror?? might be abit weird to have the blinker on the side and mirror?

Spark Ignition Direct Injection, very nice indeed how it works, a big step up for the HFV6 motor, from 195kw to 215kw, 3.6L, and a new motor 3.0L, I dont know who made it first but Holden have been using it already in their Z22SE motor for a few years, the Z22SE motor has minor problems with the high pressure motor and no doubt the VE motor will aswell... the SIDI isnt 'VE series 2', i dont think there will be a series 2, but this motor is going in the 'VF' commodore next year.. Just because i work at holden doesnt mean im going to stick up for them lol i have no clue who 'made' SIDI, its been out for ages. at holden collage they say we are the first in the country or something like that....

what brand pads are you using? and when he says took long to machine what does that mean, took long because it was grooved and required more than one machine?? if the blades on the disc machine are cr@p it wont be a smooth cut and will cause brake noise, also if there is chatter marks on the rotor it will cause brake noise.. if there are shims on your car ( unsure ) maybe they are not fitted correctly and will cause noise...

not the fact ill be racing.. the fact is what if there was a fire in the cabin for some reason, ive seen on the news brand new cars just burst up in flames... you never know till its too late... as CHA54 said, if i had a fire in the engine bay id rather put it out that it consume the whole car... it will be hard saying to the insurance company the car cought fire from the engine blown up, they will probably turn to me and say " sorry sir you saw that your motor was blown, and since you dont have warranty you decided to put fire to your car for insurace, so were not covering you, btw does insurance cover that 'kind' of fire??? " lol highly unlikely but ya never know

agreed! i have a k&n panel filter from when i bought the car, i bought the k&n filter the next day, week later i bought CAI.. the panel is still oily, and in my garage, only had 300km on it.. sounded good when replaced with stock! i was over the moon lol

o lol envy thats for the rear, no idea what the fronts are like, if you dont want to do that then pop rivet it back in! unless you can take the speaker out without taking the pod out... when you do it let me know what to expect when i do my front speakers, alpine typex i cant wait, lol sexpo took alot of my money this week so speakers are gonna wait a while, no rush
