hey all when i take off sometimes there is a rattle, only at low rpm, its not a stalling rattle, and only sometimes there, sounds like a drive belt tentioner or something, it happens in all kinds of weather all kinds of road conditions, when im doing say 15km/h and rolling in 2nd, if the revs are low enough it will rattle, but doesnt feel like its going to stall.. again hard to describe, i should get a vid, hard when my iPhone only does pics any help or ideas what it could be would be appreciated btw how much would a new serp belt and tentioner cost?? ta in advance, Dan.

rear rotors had brake shudder, so soon after replacing pads too, so machined them a while back, didnt end up posting here but am now, so all good, rotors work a treat, highly recommended !!!!

i wouldnt mind seeing something done with my car, intercooler or something cool, maybe the cartoon look???

how much did u pay for the cluster?? If i change my cluster is it the same km's?? eg i have 90k on my clock now, i get a 2nd hand cluster, put k's on that then change back and still have 90k??? i know with the commo u have to link the IPC ( instrument panel cluster ) to the BCM ( body control module ) to work, anything need doing to the rollas???

i dunno if it will fit, if the plugs and wiring are the same, but why would u want a stivo cluster?? i mean does your auto rev to over 8,000rpm? lol

id keep going around places and find a place till they do something! if its not normal then dont just 'live with it' u didnt buy a car to make that noise also a car is no investment, as soon as u take it out of the car yard it drops in price, even if u drive it out and go around the block and take it to their used car department, u will get way less !!

well there is that buldge thing dj lol, i assume there is one there... maybe i can rig something up with a photodiode and relays and stuff and see how we go, might get a wiring diagram for the ve commo at work and see if i can make it similar, will let you's know how i go, if anyone has done this let me know aye

i have what looks like a light sensor on my driver side dash( photo diode), near my windscreen, i have no idea what its for as my lights arn't auto is there a way where i can hook up my lights to accessories and this sensor so if i go in a tunnel they switch on? then off when i go out of the tunnel, and i can turn them on and off the normal way with the stalk? does this make sense? do i need to take a picture of this thing, has anyone else wondered what this is????? i might go through the wiring diagrams and plan it out if it may be possible... note: i dont want to hook these straight to accessories so my lights are always on, ive already blown a ballest lol thanx in advance. - Daniel

gday, im in penrith and lived in a 2 story house, my room was on the bottom and in the corner, no antenna connection, i went to DSE and tried all their portable antennas with amplifiers, none worked for my HD TV.. it sucked cause i just bought it and only thing i could do was watch simpsons on blueray lol, anyways gave jims antenna's a call, charged $100 to run a cable in the roof to the side down the wall and got a plug made up in my room, picture was perfect! then moved out 2 months later :( i then moved into this house now, no antenna in this room either, so i went to bunnings, bought the cables and sockets and splitters, $60 all up, DIY, picture perfect !!

mine used to crunch from 2nd to 3rd at high rpm, mainly in lift, very embarrassing when u crunch it lol, i carried out a clutch pedal adjustment because the friction point was a tadd lower than the middle, i adjusted it so its around the middle, bit less than half way, and noticed the difference straight away, no crunch, quick shifts, wheel spins between gears... i havnt changed the transaxle oil since i got the car not like i do it any more as my licence is hanging in the balance with the courts :( its 3,500rpm shifts for me and increased fuel economy lol
