ok, removed HID"s, found 1 of my ballests is shot.. put standard bulbs back in untill i can buy another ballest, ebay for 35, but i have nil dosh atm... the car is parked out the back, wont be needing to drive it for days....

ya bro all DIY, with the help of a hoist.. umm i started at 10am, but took it really slow, as ive never touched these kind of brakes before, once they were all off and on the bench, before machining the rear rotors i got the biggest wire brush i could find and scrubbed the calipers clean, sprayed em and let dry an hr each side, so thats 2 hrs drying by itself, all and all i was out of there 3 ( 1 hr lunch break lol )... thats with - - throttle body clean - machine rear rotors - replace front rotors - push pistons back and spray pain - brake fluid flush - clutch fluid flush - cleaned the car and vac.... - x4 new iridium spark plugs if i was working would of done it faster but since its my car i wanted it done properly, even buffed the sliding pins and re-greased em for even wear lol

new rotors, new brakes, brake fluid flush and clutch fluid, washed her..

just got my car, havnt driven it since wed, man it feels good in lift lol, brother scratched my rim today.... been driving the v8, i miss the fuel economy lol...

I've heard thats not a good idea, that it would actually do more damage to the engine than you would by driving it carefully when its cold, the reason being that if you let it idle, it ends up running for longer while its cold. yeah..... well from what i know pistons arn't exactly circle aswell, reason being the piston expands due to more metal around the gudgeon pin, so its slightly oval, then goes more circle when hot... id imagine its better to let it warm up at low rpm instead of burnin oil rather than 3 or 4,000rpm..????? yes or no or am i wrong or what???? 5-10 mins at idle isnt exactly operating tempretures anyway... its just past the 2nd little line in the temp guage...

normal... but if u got a CAI, you can barely drive it when cold anyways lol, i usually let it warm up 5-10 mins before driving, i start her up in the morning, put the heater on 25.5 degrees, go back inside and get ready for work, get in the car, nice n warm !!! wonder if anyone will jump the fence n steal my car one morning

yeah after searching through old threads, spose to be 5-10kw gain um thats what they reckon, just go for highflow cat, BUT i wanna hear it from the horses mouth, whos got these extractors and should i buy ??? if not ill just go highflow cat, which is the best cat ????? sorry just to clarify what size are our cat pipes, im thinking DIY ?? lol

did you put the squeal shim onto the TRW pads, u got to take it off your old pads and put em on your new pads.. ? sorry its all i got lol all other ideas have been said already....
