im interested in doing the same, but not putting TRD pads in the rear, just leaving them, i want slotted front rotors n TRD pads, how much u paying for the lot????

i always thought when lowering it too much will increase the stiffness of the ride, thus when going on a bumpy road cause your car to bounce, so your not having that 100% contact to the road... its what i always thought... causing it to be unsafe... while rasing your car too much will cause more body roll, making it unsafe... sorry im just going on what i think... i havnt read links by the rta or anthing about this, i think its rubbish... but if my car requires a blue slip then so be it ill get it at work, and if it needs an engineer cert, hmm how much are those? lol

word of mouth, i heard u have to get a blue slip for lowered cars, then go rta n give em blue slip.... then if police pull u over, they check their comp and if they suspect u lowered ya car they can see u have and its been cleared... if they suspect u lowered your car and u havnt got a notice giving to the rta from a blueslip, they can place your car with a defect and u have to get it cleared saying how low it is, and even if it hasnt been lowered u have to still get it saying it standard just to get ridd of the defect !! this correct??? -- again word of mouth... sorry bad spelling laying down with laptop

ok, car was reving up n down today at the lights, rev needle must of moved 5 times up n down before settling, hasnt done it since, nor before, im thinking of doing a throttle body service on the car, aswell as geting electrical contact/terminal cleaner for the MAF ?? please somelet let me know if it may be something different or if i shouldnt do this... doing a T/B service cause a DTC to set?? should i remove it and clean it with a tooth brush or do it in car then start the car with WOT..... help appreciated, btw Cold Air Intake installed 9,200km ago... have i hit the nail on the head with this idle prob?? or is it something else.... will a oil catch can fix this prob from re-accuring lol??
