Awesome, thanks for the replies guys. Just a question on oil, I see you are using 5w-40 I thought for the Aurion a 5w-30 is whats needed? or am I wrong? I dont know much about oil so excuse the ignorance.
I also read somewhere else that it needs approx 6 litres of oil? is that right? would a 5 L oil be enough or do I need to buy 2 of them and keep the rest for next time?
Lastly the silliest question, but I do want to confirm I only need 6 spark plugs is that right? I do remember a mate who had a 4 cylinder car but needed 8 spark plugs as it was DOHC or something like that.
Thanks for the replies :)
That would have been 4 on the inlet and 4 on the exhuast....CA20 nissan motor as one example.
yeah mate 6 plugs only and the oil you will need is a little over 5lts but it wont take the entire 6lt,you will have some left over...no savings to be had there, and no you cant buy oil by the mils :P ...just playing with ya.

If your worried about legal height i suggest dont buy them, would be a waste to have them set high or at the standard height, you will be just sacraficing comfort for a little street handling, and if your running stockies (wheels) on an ATX i wouldn't bother with coilovers, most of us with them have them either for the handling, track days or as in my case and some others to get the car at the desired ride height without any scrubbing which i could not acheive with springs.
and to answer your question what height are they set at....just a smidge above scrubbage, whatever that is in mm/cm fark knows :P

Mothers do a cleaner which is seperate to their conditioner, maybe give that a try....maybe you could ask to do a sample try at your local auto parts store before you buy,no use paying for it if aint going to work.

Nice wamps,i could use a set for certain speed humps i have to negotiate on a daily basis,i can just see myself getting out and setting them up then crawling over then getting back out to put them in the boot.

hey lee. glad spook is still in the driveway. i hope ur washing her frequently :D
Cheers mate and yeah she still gets her weekly bath.

This is sad news! But unfortunately, there's always a point of time we need to move on for different reasons. What's next Lee? :)
I guess you know what i'm talking about...and whats next,no friggin idea,a ute or a wagoon for work would be more practical than Spook.
anyway she is still in the driveway...for now :)

driving home from work late the other night around midnight i was all by myself on Warrigal rd Moorabbin, next thing i see headlights way way behind me(prolly 600m-800m behind),they got closer and closer,i was doing the speed limit (70km) so this person was obviously speeding to have caught me,the next thing there sitting just on my RH 1/4 panel in the fast lane and now doing the speed limit with me,they sat there for the next 3-4kms until i turned off, this seems to happens a fair bit late at night and was wondering why and if any members can shine some light on this style of driving,it sort of erks me because we both had our own space until this muppet decided he needed company on an almost deserted road.
i really cant call this a rant,i suppose its more puzzeling than anything else :(

Thanks for the reply Daryl,i just relized the iPhone recharger has a different USB socket than the controller but i just found my old Motorola Razor charger and it fits the controller,i suppose what i'm really asking is will it fry my controller...i guess theres only one way to find out,if all goes wrong i've always got the spare controller.
-
my stupid question...can i use my iPhone charger to charge my PS3 controller? looks like it may work
