  1. Welcome to the club.

Is the council paying for the rear window?

No they won't, the tree is on our property so I'm out of pocket. We've wanted the tree chopped down for awhile so the only benefit is that now we can (after an $80 tree works application and $400 independent aborist report).

welcome to the club mate, sorry to see the damage that Gum tree snap out caused :(

$400 is not to steep,we charge $550 for a report and with all the crazy weather these days we are so busy,we are seeing more & more property damage from falling limbs and blow overs,90% of em caused by stormy weather.

did the report say the tree was safe and just needs a tidy up/pruning or was it deemed unsafe and needs removing?

  2. i really dislike the shape of most car cleaning product bottles, mainly the stability factor...they are made with such tiny bases and more times than not fall over when placed on the ground during use,i used my Autoglym interior cleaner yesterday and while putting this bottle down on my driveway it must have fallen over 2-3 times,i see similar traits with shampoo & conditioner bottles my missus buys for our shower :(....if the surface is not dead flat these things just topple over,a grain of sand underneath the base seems to unsettle em.

    rant over

  3. Nice work mate, the muffler setup looks similar to mine, what size tips are they?

also looking forward to seeing those lights finished and installed, going to look purrrrty wicked when done me thinks :)

    Cheers

  4. Those that own an Aurion would understand this rant....

... when you wash the windscreen then want to put your window down to let some air in while you are driving. The design of the pillar on the side of the windscreen is so bad that the water just runs into the car and all over the door trim and window switches. Pi**es me off every time.

i agree,i even have a microfibre cloth on hand to wipe the switches :( ...on a side note thats sorts of ok compared to the FG Ford ute i drive during the day at work,if you have both windows down you get this bufferting that kills your ears and mashes your brain,we are constantly ajusting the window levels to compensate for the boom boom boom on your senses...this really sucks and is a design fault imo :(

  5. so jelly of your Yoda type elec work, wish my hands/brain worked like that...at work they call me chipolata fingers, only good for breaking things and keeping me in trees :)

anyhoo really looking forward to seeing what you have up your sleeve...i will be watching, not in a stalking type way either. :)

  6. No spoiler Vick....but i did pm you about something i'm a tad crazy about :)

and Peter i know i've been slack lately but hopefully my workload will ease up soon, then Spook and i can come out to play :)
