  1. Quick question...my TOCAU membership is due 06/11/11 if i pay it now 10-11 days early will it automatically update me when my current one runs out?

reason i ask is the last 3 memberships have taken a couple of weeks to process once paid. :D

    Cheers

  2. hrmm, personally not a fan of multistud rims, reduces its structural integrity.

is this fact or something you have heard? pretty big call considering numerous members and a few mates of mine run multifit and have had NO issues.

i would be more worried about using illegal 22mm wheel spacers (hubcentric or not) as an integrity thing

personally i don't like multifit rims either, but thats just based on the way they look and not the integrity of the wheel.

on topic buy those OZ Racing rims, they look bloody outstanding on a Rolla, and there almost brand new :D

  3. Glad she is all fixed to your satisfaction mate :toast: and I do believe you would regret selling her for a **** box, its just not the same.

Thanks Peter...yeah mate i can't fault the repairs atm,i've been working like a dog latley and i have spent no time on the car at all,the last 2 washes were both by the panelbeater, when i give her a good clean it's usually where i find all the little imperfections ie dings, chips, scrapes ect ect so we will see soon enough, but from what i can see atm it's all good.

and i've had a rethink on selling and decided to hang onto it and finish what i started....

  4. *cough*turboconversion*cough*

sorry, i've got this annoying cough...

    *cough*if it was RWD*cough*...

i actually do have a cough atm, dang flu, just starting to feel human again

EDIT...looking at this post cough should be spelt coff, seems easier

  5. A little update....my car went back to Sheens on tuesday for a few small issues i had with the repairs,i just picked her up and now i'm one happy camper,Spook looks awesome again :P ,they had to rehang the bootlid as it wasn't sitting right and had to buff out a few grey areas in the paintwork...now she looks new again :yahoo:

they gave me a black VX Commodore as a loner for 2 days, and having just p/up my Aurion the difference between the two are worlds apart,i'm thinking i might hang on to the ole girl for a little longer, looking at her again in all her glory has sparked my interest again. :D

i will try and get some pics of the repairs up on sunday arvo, weather pending.

    Cheers

  6. Main answer here is YES let your insurer know about your mods, they will void your insurance if they find reason enough, and it don't take much. :(

I have a few mods and all of them are listed with Shannons, have had 3 claims and all 3 have gone through smoothly, also was told by one of the assesors that if they weren't listed they would not have honoured my hail claim....thank the mod gods i was honest and open from the start, you do pay a little more but IMO well worth it. :D

  7. Yeah, buddy club p1 or something like that. "1stkill" has the same set on his, but his is in black and looks a lot cooler.

  8. Yeah i concur they are tuff....i whacked mine fairly hard and thought the worst, but on inspection there was a little scuff that i polished out :D

as for other cars the BF Ford ute at work seems to be made of egg shells, one of the guys dropped a rake and the rake handle landed on the top of the mirror,it smashed the mirror glass and left a crack on top of the outter casing, lol a rake handle

  9. revival i know but i need to say i feel awkward when i pull up to set of lights with my system pumping and you can pretty much see their winows on their car vibrating.. i do feel like a bit of an idiot but still i do it every day and never use the ac even if its hot i just have to music pumping with the windows down bring on SUMMER!!

+1 almost...at my age i can't bring myself to have it bangin at the lights,i turn it down on approach, but when cruising all hell breaks loose

also i have all my windows up,sounds better IMO

what makes me laugh is the tool with the stock/factory system up flat knacker with all the windows down, sounds like a strangled cat from a distance
