  1. Good choice of vehicle ... but do you really mean a 10/2008 build? As an aside, my 10/2008 build KX-S (bought in 12/2008) is quickly approaching 40k km ... and a replacement set of tyres! Not a single problem with the vehicle, however. 10/2008 Build 12/2008 Compliance 12/2008 Delivered / First Registered About 20,000kms
  2. Couple of days in and the sound is great! Nice throaty roar under acceleration!!!

    mudflaps

Put my front and rear mudflaps on today, looks great!
  4. From what Toyota Service say, it's an oil cooler...
  5. Headlights are Auto Off. I am suprised that they stayed on... Was the drivers door not closed properley? Sometims that causes problems. Also check the door strikers / for the interior light, sometime they are faulty also.
  6. Hi All, I have now started to ask questions... I did a search but nothing specific was found. At the front of the Kluger looking at the passenger side fog light, to the left of it and underneath is a duct leading to a radiator of sorts... Is this a transmission cooler or oil cooler? Does any one know...
  7. Yes I agree. Don't know how they measure 80% more light but yeah it is at least better. I will say much better. Mine both blown since the thread started. So they don't last forever. At least you can buy them single unit @ Autobarn for the same price getting 2. Do you drive with your lights on all the time? I do, will the bulbs only last a very short time then?
  8. I put one in my KX-S today. K&N Panel Filter Part No: 332260. I am happy with, as with most of the K&N air filters that I have used in the past...

    mudflaps

I was quoted $139 for a set for a 2008 Kluger from Southside Toyota. Sounds ok? Might get some this week...
  10. I just installed my Philips X-tremePower H4 Bulbs today, tested them tonight; all good! I would not sy athat they are +80% more light, however they are better than OEM.
  11. Congrats on your new purchase. If I may ask, what other cars were you looking at and why did you settle on the Kluger? I seem to recall reading something about the air filter, do you know what all the fuss is regarding this special K & N filter? I think I've seen them on ebay for $150+, is it made of gold? Also the sat nav you're talking about, is that the one normally fitted as standard in the Grande or a different model? Thanks for the comments... I was looking at the following; - Holden Captiva LX Diesel - Mazda CX-9 - Ford Territory Ghia And was seriously looking at the All new Kia Sorento Diesel Platinum. Decided on the Kluger for many factors, but more so the flexibility of the seating and the "walk thru" to the third row. K&N Filters are really good! I have put one in all my cars (up to car 18 now)... $130rrp and bought at autObarn with a 20% voucher from the entertainment book! The Sat Nav is the Double Din sized OEM Toyota Sat Nav genuine accessory. If you have access to the Kluger Accessories Brochure, it is in there. Now looking at the following; - Mud Flaps - Nudge Bar (airbag compatible) - Rubber Cargo Mat - Side steps
  12. Hi All, I have had a few cars since the Camry, so I thought I should jump on over to the Kluger forum! Just got myself the following (yesterday); 10/2008 Toyota Kluger KX-S - OEM Satellite Navigation (4 in dash mp3) with Bluetooth and AUX input for iPod. - Front Parking Sensors - Rear Parking Sensors I have pleanty of questions which I will ask along the way. Today I have started with the following; - Philips X-tremePower H4 headlight bulbs - Philips BlueVision Wedge W5W bulbs for the liscence plate lights - K&N Panel Air Filter Part No: 332260 - Cleaned the Throttle Body Also looking to change the OEM horns with the following; http://www.fiammamerica.com/Product.asp?ProductID=158 More to come, I will keep you all up to date with Many, Many questions along the way!!! Glenn
  13. Mate, they look awesome! Did you have to tap into the wiring for the existing sie indicators, or was it a simple plug and play?
  14. Any chance of a close up pic of the mirrors position in the a-pillar area. I assume they are a neat fit? Does the power mirror functionality still work? Looks the goods though!
  15. I assume that it is an intank fuel level sensor?! Did you knock it, or not put back correctley after changing your fuel filter?! I also assume it is an intank fuel filter also.
  16. Thanks for that, I might look at giving it a go. If it does fit, I will have to wire up the side indicator, then delete the existing indicator from the guard! (sounds like a lot of work!)
  17. Just replaced spark plugs with Denso IK20's. So far so good!
  18. Hi Mate and welcome to the site! What is the King Of Mods (USA)???
  19. I really do like these units, however that is the first time I have seen one installed in a Camry Dash. Not quite sure that I am sold in the way it looks... It just does not seem to "fit" in the factory position... I am aware they are mde by Fujitsu Ten / Eclipse and branded Toyota. But it just does not look a "factory" fit. Once again, I like the unit and its functionality, just not the look in a Toyota Dash. Just my 2 cents...
  20. Can you take a picture of how this sits in the dash. I was looking at this unit some time ago also. But I was turned of due to the 90 degree edges. The factory unit has curved edges. Does it look ok in the dash?! Pics please...
  21. Refer to your owners manual... The fuse box is located under the steering wheel cowl / lower dash area.
  22. I would be interested to know also... I wonder if the Aurion mirrors could be retro fitted?!...
  23. Ok, so I have genuine Toyota Park Assist (rear) on my Sportivo from the factory. Now looking to do the front sensors also. Does anyone know if the ACV36 Camry has an intrusion bar running along the front bar. Or, as in the pics of the new Camry / Aurion that have front parking sensors (x2) they look to be at the very extremities of the front bar. Do you think this can be done? Does anyone have a parts expansion of the front bar area, this will give clues as too how much room is behind there. (I hope the above all make sense!) Happy to discuss...
  24. Wanted To Buy: (36 Series) Altise Sport, Sportivo and Azura (Factory fitted "Sports Muffler") - V6 muffler Part No: 174300A251 If anyone has one lying around... PM me!
