  4. I have to change the fuel filter in the engine bay anybody give me a idea where it is had a quick look but as yet not been found . Also has anyone changed the tank filter i assume its only a corse guaze setup ?

  6. Yes timing belt busted just waiting for a new one from auto one $45.00 could not get a kit for a few days . I should of been a bit more on the ball and realised that no spark and no fuel output = timing belt , its a older car fuel pump is cam driven , all good was pretty easy to remove all bits to remove belt fingers x no DAMAGE done
  7. just found the culprit mr timing belt = no spark and no fuel open up oil cap and no moving parts = timing belt JUST HOPE it has not busted up the motor , fingers x
  8. we have just purchased a 89 corolla 1.4 twin cam for my kids to learn to drive in , just put a new battery in her and drove about 1000 mtrs and she stopped has fuel but cant get any spark, what do you guys think , distributor is my thinking as there is power into the dizzy but stops there , its got a board inside the dizzy , thats were i get lost , help anyone

  10. HI again the tyres are on 245/35zr/19 maxxis mav1 victra seemed ok on my trip home cyclonic conditions in newcastle grip was good in the wet a tad noisy more to come
  11. After just using the MA-Z1's, I personally think you should have gone for the Federal's. Should have shopped around because for the price you are paying for the Maxxis, you could gotten the Federal's. thanks for your input guys the money side at this point in time guided our choice will try sumthin a bit dearer next time , will report on the maxxis as i get used to them this is my wifes daily drive / also need tyres today as the car is out of action so no time to do any shop around , we know the owner of the local tmart so thats were we are at cheers

Well up to last night i had sum respect for these tyres 245/35zr/19 achilles tyres , went out today to rotate them found that the front left with massive tread seperation broken belts the rear left is not much better the two right hand fellers are ok it would seem wont be buying these ***** tyres again any feedback welcome what do you guys rekomend ??

  21. GUYS i have been running a tyre called achilles made by api [american performance industries] 19/245/35 getting pretty good wear and they grip great in wet and dry , anyone else run them????
  22. Yeah i also got the recall letter will have to see what they do PROLLY WAIT TILL NEXT SERVICE dont see why we should lose the car for a day over that little line..
  23. I just used a quick drying enamel and sprayed it on the inside of the protector, you wont get any damage to the paint, and I do agree it would blend in. logos etc optional. YES NICE TAXI and scoota im still working on the handbrake she is resisting me paintin the bonnet protector i will win MAYBE LOL LOL
