Yeah i know, glad they liked it saying it was a lot of fun :D also outpaced the WRX and 350Z at 1000m and just a wisker off the EVO9, although in the bends it is still an understeer inducing front heavy fwd. But being the only fwd there out of 11 cars it did pretty good to be 8th around the tight Oran Park North Circuit. It was only 0.1sec slower than the MX5! I guess i have to see how much fun it really is at Wakefield Park one day.

nice car the polo gti and priced well too. How much did you end up payng for it? I think its direct competitior is the Mitsubishi Colt Turbo, don't like it but its mechanical specs are impressive. its just not quite an EVO :P

MPS for sure!! But Golf GTI is a damn sweet ride too, i will have both if i could :P Plus there are nore aftermarket tuning stuff for the GTI already. Test drive both dude ;)

hmm.. you are trying to convince me to give my baby a good flogging, will think about that :P the guy that ran his MPS 3 that day told me his times for comparison when i actually go. He said his 60' time was 2.466, 330' 6.605, 660' 9.828, 1000' 12.571, ET 14.874 @ 96.58mph (155.44km/h). 34psi front tyre pressure, DSC on with 3000rpm clutch drop, 3/4 tank of fuel, nothing removed from car. Please please give me a 14.4 at least provided i don't stuff up :P

Check this out guys! 14.467sec at WSID for a XR5 Turbo. It is "STOCK" but running 22psi front tyre pressure! XR5 turbo 1/4mile time WSID 16/8/06 But if you look at the time slips the XR5 trap speed was 155km/h, and the guy in the MPS 3 that did a 14.8s also clocked 155km/h but like i said he shifted into 5th gear and had all the crap in his car plus everything is stock. :ubbwink: I think if the MPS 3 driver can improve on his launch, use 25psi tyre pressure and get a better 60feet time, and also stick in 4th gear he should be able to crack some amazing times. Let's await :D

:P Now i just got to weigh up whether to risk breaking an engine mount with a hard launch and lowered front tyre pressure to crack 14.8 Also for your info even if i don't crack 14.8 i won't feel so bad because i have seen a WRX STI Type RA with 206kw run 14.9 :P
