  1. Cheers for the welcome, guys. I will put some pics up in the coming weeks. Got it going in for tint on Tuesday, and should have my audio system installed within the next few weeks, so i'll take some decent pics once thats all done. 1stKill, funny you should mention Penguin. Was gonna head through there tonight and give it a run along the old coast road to Ulverstone. Test out the handling at speed. (Not past the speed limit though, of course. ;) )
  2. Hi all. Chris is the name, from Devonport in NW Tassie. Felt now would be an appropriate time for an introduction, now I'm officially a Toyota owner. Been kicking around these parts for months now, after coming to my senses and deciding to buy one. Finally found what I wanted in my price range the other week, and yesterday picked up my Aurion ZR6.
  3. Phantom, about your subs, mate, I don't recommend running 2 TSW306C subbies off a single GM3200T amp. Been there, done that. It wasn't generally too bad when I was just running the 1 sub, but once I whacked the second one on there I had trouble galore. The amp works so hard to power 2 1000W subs off its measly 120W per channel output that your amp will cut in and out (as in you suddenly lose bass for a couple of kicks or so) at any sort of worthwhile volume, because the amp just doesn't have the output power to move the speakers. In fact, I would be willing to bet that you already experience this from time to time with just 1 sub. Well, imagine that, times 10. Thats about what happens with 2 subs. Eventually I blew 1 channel on my amp, and was then left with powering both subs of the single remaining 120W channel. Times cutting-out by another 10 times. That old amp has since been repaired and retired to other less demanding uses. I now run a pair of Pioneer D-Class mono amps (GM-D7400M) for my subs, so each sub gets its own 800W amp. My subs like the power, my amps don't have to do any hard work, and I get to enjoy 1600W of boom in my boot. If you are adamant on sticking with Pioneer, I recommend you grab yourself a couple of these bad boys. Also, once you do have that much wattage, get yourself a capacitor for your amps or you will kill your battery quick-smart. I recommend a Rockford Fosgate or Stinger 1 FARAD capacitor. I personally have a Rockford Fosgate and it works a treat. Good luck with it, mate.
